Campo Arte, ubicado en la ciudad de Rivera, es un destino único donde el arte y la naturaleza se entrelazan. Ofrece una experiencia cultural integral con un parque de esculturas, una colección de arte del artista Solum Donas, un hotel temático y un restaurante que celebra la gastronomía como arte.
El Parque Escultórico de Campo Arte enriquece la oferta cultural de la región al integrar el arte con el paisaje. Las esculturas interactivas, figurativas y abstractas se adaptan al entorno natural, invitando a los visitantes a explorar y reflexionar sobre nuestra experiencia vital. Desde 2017 la organización Campo Abierto ha desarrollado diversos proyectos en ese territorio y el parque también es una bitácora o archivo de las practicas artísticas-culturales colaborativas que alli se han realizado.
La colección de Solum Donas es una muestra destacada de su vasta producción artística, que incluye unas 600 esculturas y más de 4000 dibujos. Esta colección abarca desde esculturas en madera y metal hasta objetos artesanales y obras textiles, reflejando su curiosidad por la naturaleza, el diseño y la arquitectura. La obra de Donas invita a los visitantes a explorar el potencial creativo humano y su interacción con el entorno.
El hotel temático ofrece una inmersión en el arte con habitaciones decoradas con obras originales y talleres impartidos por artistas. El restaurante destaca por su enfoque artístico en la gastronomía, utilizando ingredientes locales para crear platos innovadores.
Campo Arte fue creado por la artista uruguaya Tamara Cubas, quien diseñó este espacio para ofrecer una experiencia que conecta profundamente el arte, la naturaleza y la vida, inspirando a los visitantes a explorar y disfrutar de cada rincón del establecimiento.
